Smyrna High School Band was a recipient of the prestigious Tennessee Bandmasters Asssociation's (TBA) Sweepstakes Award, presented at the 2018 TMEA State Conference held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.

2017 Grand Champions

The Smyrna High School Marching Band was named Grand Champions in their final competition of the season at the Pulaski Classic held on October 28, 2017 at Giles Co. High School!
Superior Ratings were earned by the Band, Percussion, Color Guard, and Field Commanders. The Percussion section was also named best in contest overall.

SHS Band named "Grand Champion"

The Smyrna High Marching Band placed 1st in the Mid-South Marching Invitational, held at Austin Peay State University on Saturday, October 25, 2014, receiving the title of Grand Champion. The contest involved two rounds of competition and featured19 bands overall.
The band's show this year is titled "Stonehenge" and depicts the dark mood of the mystery surrounding this ancient stone monument.
