The Smyrna High School Band

The Smyrna High School Band program at Smyrna High School in Smyrna, TN has a rich and long-standing history of musical excellence. The program's mission is to develop individual student musicianship while providing quality public performances from all our musical ensembles.

Yearly performances include: band concerts in the fall and spring, providing entertaining half-time shows at football games, energizing the crowds with the pep band, and the jazz band's annual performance at JazzFest in Murfreesboro each May.

The Smyrna High Band has received many honors and awards throughout the years both at Marching Competitions and at Concert Festivals. Notable past honors include: invitations to play at Disney World, Music Showcase at Six Flags Over Georgia, and the Outback Bowl Parade.

And some of our most recent accomplishments include Superior Ratings at the 2015 MTSBOA Concert Performance Assessment by the Symphonic Band, and the Marching Band was named Grand Champions of the 2014 Mid-South Marching Invitational held at Austin Peay State University.
